INSTRUCTIONS FOR WOODEN DÉCOUPAGE HOME CRAFTS ITEM
Follow MODGE PODGE instructions, but do not varnish, and continue as follows:
- Apply a thin coat of BASE COAT FOR SMALL CRACKS (or if you prefer BASE COAT FOR LARGE CACKS). Wait till dry. Apply a second layer and wait till dry. Each application of BASE COAT takes about 30 minutes to dry.
- With a dry brush or sponge applicator, apply a layer of TOP COAT. Ensure that the entire surface is coated well. Work quickly – it is not advisable to rework areas that have started drying. Allow to dry for a few hours.
- THE CRACKS ARE BEARLY VISIBLE at this stage. You will need to rub MAGIC TOUCH or ARTISTS OIL COLOURS into cracks.
